Louise and Friend On June 12th about 1,500 Brownies and leaders arrived at Legoland to celebrate the 90th anniversary. We had a great day...

First of all we had a look around the art gallery and tried to guess who was who in the pictures on the wall of fame. There was Homer Simpson, Duncan from Blue, Darth Vader and all of S Club. And other pictures, like the Mona Lisa and a great picture of the Queen:

Her Majesty     Peek behind the bush     Salute the Soldier
All around the park, hidden in the bushes were giant statues of anything you could think of... giraffes... dinosaurs... elephants... people... pirates. They were great. We found a family on a park bench having a picnic, a little boy was on a swing on one of the rides we went on. They were great.

Then we ventured into Legoland itself and after racing virtual cars and going on the swing roundabout and the ginny horses we found a room full of lego and spent ages just building things.

After lunch we all joined up to the Legoland driving school and showed our prowess on the roads. We all passed and got our very own driving license!

Poop poop!

And then we headed onto the bigger, better, faster rides. We got soaked on the log flume, and braved the dragon for the roller coaster. Unfortunately the queues were very very long, but that didn't bother us... we sang all the way around(!)

At 3 o' clock we went to the marquee with some of the other Brownies and sang "Happy Birthday" and blew the candles out on a very big cake! We each had a little present too. There were hundreds of us, look:

Happy Birthday  Us!
And we finished off the day walking back through LegoEurope ...
